Lesson Plans for January 15th- 19th, 2018

Reminders:

  2. Mr. Fritz will be attending Mid-Winter Ag Teacher's Conference on Thursday and Friday.
  3. FFA Wrestling Tournament is on Saturday.

1st Hour (Ag Business/Welding)
  • Tuesday:
    • Students will work on their fire pits.  Students will begin plasma cutting
  • Wednesday:
    • The students will work on start of Ag Sales
  • Thursday and Friday:
    • Students will continue to work on their fire pits.  The goal is to get all of the clip art stencils cut out.
2nd Hour (Horticulture)
  • Tuesday:
    • Students will work on their personal chest
  • Wednesday:
    • Students will work on their banner sign
  • Thursday and Friday:
    • Students will work on their personal chest.  The students should try to get their tops engraved.
3rd Hour (Introduction to Agriculture)
  • Tuesday:
    • Students are to work on their engraver projects.
  • Wednesday:
    • Students will continue on their temperature experiment on plant growth.  Create document
  • Thursday and Friday:
    • Students are to work on their engraver project or china hutch.  They can stain if they want.
4th Hour (Foundation of Agriculture)
  • Tuesday:
    • Students will present their Risk in Business reports.  This will be a informal presentation.
  • Wednesday-Friday:
    • Students will work on their engraver projects.  The plans will be on the white board.
5th Hour (8th Grade Agriculture)
  • Tuesday:
    • First day of class.  The students will go over expectations of the class.
    • Start on Agriculture Across the States
  • Wednesday:
    • Students will continue with Agriculture Across the States.  They will create a package to send to other states about North Dakota Agriculture.  They will type up their information about North Dakota Agriculture
  • Thursday:
    • Students will complete a worksheet on the Safety in Wood shop.  
  • Friday:
    • Students will compete the worksheet on Taking Linear Measurement.
6th Hour: (Ag Mech Tech)
  • Tuesday-Friday
    • We are trying new teaching this semester.  We will work more towards student base learning
      • Students will work on various electrical wiring drawings.
7th Hour:
  • Prep- No Students
8th Hour: Bulldog Period
  • Students are to work on homework

    • The students will start the Homeland Farm Game.  The students will spend 20 day managing a virtual farm.
  • Tuesday and Thursday:
    • The students will work on their metal fire pits
  • Wednesday:
    • The students will be drilled with questions about their Start up business plan
  • Friday:
2nd Hour (Horticulture):
  • Monday: 
    • The students will start on the Farm Game
  • Tuesday and Thursday:
    • The students will work on their engraver project

    • The students will complete the Floral Drying Experiment.
