Lesson Plans Feb 26th- Mar 2nd, 2018


The principle goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done.

Reminders:

  • There is no school on Friday
  • Mr. Fritz will take grain samples to the State Crop Show on Friday.  Please bring in samples to be clean, by Thursday.
  • Juniors and Seniors will be going to the Ag Awareness in Harvey on Tuesday.


Agriculture Business/Welding:

  • Monday:
    • The students will type up the final information for their final meeting with Gerry at Starion.
  • Tuesday:
    • Reid will pick up Metal at Rolla Welding

Horticulture:

    • Students will learn how to make a wrist corsage using silk flowers.

Exploring Agriculture:

    • Students will learn about Precision Agriculture.  
      • Technologies helping farmers
  • Tuesday:
    • After learning about the Autonomous Tractor produced by CASE IH, you are to partner up and create your own precision technology.  You need to write out in detail how this technology is going to help farmers.  If you get confused think about the tractor video on how the tractor is benefiting the farmers. Write out how the piece of equipment or technology looks, how does it operate.  I want details.  I will be able to tell if you are done in 5 minutes
